Technically, in a professional situation, this would be the mix to hand over to the master. If it's all the same guy, this would be the point that he would start to push the volume up, and restrict the dynamics to an arbitrary level close to 100 db, and not exceeding any other sample on the collection. In my setting, it's going through the motions and learning the ropes.

It's normalized to ~ -14 LUFs which is industry standard.

(basically, that means you have to beat your metal soul into submission, and only turn it up to 8 instead of 11, despite everything in your being feeling like it's going to implode BECAUSE IT'S JUST NOT LOUD ENOUGH!!!!!) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤷‍♂️🤫

God bless OLD analog inputs and FireWire. Despite having to jump through setup hoops, it's probably the best set of "mistakes" we ever made. You can't make digital inputs sound like this. (I tried) 🤷‍♂️🤫
