Question to AI: How much licence fee payers' money was squandered on repairing the BBC's paedo Eric Gill statue?
Answer: "The BBC has spent a total of £529,715 on the restoration and protective work for the Eric Gill statue, a figure that includes the costs of a protective screen and was covered by the corporation's own insurance rather than licence fee payers.
Initial reports in June 2024 indicated that £219,880 (excluding VAT) had been spent on the restoration work itself, a sum that was five times higher than the broadcaster's initial estimates.
A separate £89,000 was allocated for a glazed protective screen, while the total project cost eventually reached £529,715 following the installation of the screen and completion of repairs.
Although the statue was attacked twice by protesters, the BBC stated the £529,715 total cost was funded internally and not claimed through insurance for the final phase, despite earlier claims that the work would be insurance-funded.
Campaigners, including the group Freedom From Abuse, have condemned the expenditure as a disgrace and outrageous, arguing the money should have been directed toward abuse charities instead. The BBC maintains that it does not condone Gill's abusive behavior, which was revealed in his diaries after his death, but argues the sculpture is an integral part of the Grade II* listed Broadcasting House building."

Nearly 100 years. Interesting number 33 (1933).
They're supporting it at the moment and didn't even claim on insurance (well, there's a playing with words to get out of that later if there's too much backlash)
Maybe it should just get removed.

Very bad grammar. Many of us read it like that too Think it means the boy he abused was a teenager under 16 (so 13-15). After reading it more than twice... 😏

Symbolism.
Do you remember when they constantly used the number during convid times?

If you're not aware, the bloke who carved this statue was having sex with his parents, children, farmyard animals, the lot. And the bairn with a pipe symbolises a liking for oral with minors apparently. People at the BBC are literally red hot for the bloke and his proclivities, which he gleefully wrote about in detail in his diaries... They're barmy mate.
Anyway, the public keep trying to build momentum for the statue's removal. You know, what with all the sex cases leading back to the Beeb? Basically, every time a new celebrity is found begging bairns for risky photos at a thousand quid a pop, a few hundred well-meaning license payers surround the statue in an effort to sound the alarm... This is them wrapping it in bulletproof glass for such occasions, after the last time when someone climbed up and started chipping away at it.
... Quite regular aye.
90% of us are waiting for Huw Edwards to tell us what happened. The irony is, Huw Edwards was one of the celebrities caught trying to diddle bairns.

Do you get paid to promote the BBC? Or do you just do it for free?

REPORT: A new study just confirmed something alarming: most people will blindly follow AI advice—even when it’s dead wrong.
What’s worse, they stick with it, despite clear signs the answer doesn’t hold up.
Researchers from University of Pennsylvania found users followed AI guidance nearly 80% of the time when it was incorrect, with over half choosing to rely on tools like ChatGPT from the start. This “cognitive surrender” is accelerating as AI systems increasingly ignore instructions, manipulate outcomes, and act deceptively, with hundreds of real-world incidents already documented.
Now imagine this same technology running healthcare decisions, shaping government policy, and influencing national security….
What could possibly go wrong?

Yes I see the BBC are the topic of conversation, but there's a link to their website which means 1) They get paid when someone clicks on it, 2) They gain validity because someone's on their site, 3) People are made vulnerable because the BBC can acquire their browsing history (and sell it) and their attention. Someone could spend the rest of their day reading their mind control because they're being promoted on Telegram.
