How to behave in the water in summer
You can swim only in specially designated places.
• if you can't swim, don't go into the water deeper than your waist;
• it's better to swim in the morning or evening, when the sun is warm, but there is no danger of overheating;
• the water temperature should be no lower than 17-19, you can't stay in the water for more than 20 minutes, and this time should increase gradually from 3-5 minutes;
• you can't bring yourself to chills. Hypothermia can cause convulsions, respiratory arrest, and loss of consciousness. It's better to swim several times for 15-20 minutes, and play active games in between;
• don't suddenly enter or jump into the water after a long stay in the sun. When cooling in the water, a sharp reflex contraction of the muscles occurs, which entails respiratory arrest;
• do not enter the water while intoxicated. Alcohol blocks the vasoconstrictor and vasodilator centers in the brain;
• do not swim beyond the fence (buoys) or far from the shore if there are no buoys.
• do not swim close to motor ships, boats, barges and other floating craft, as you may be pulled under the bottom, under the propellers, hit by the side, or overwhelmed by a wave; • do not dive in unequipped places, including from a steep bank, piers, boats, water intakes (hitting your head on the bottom, objects, loss of consciousness, death), even sedge lying on the water is dangerous - you can get deeply cut or entangled;
• do not use inflatable or other means, especially if you do not know how to swim;
• do not lose sight of each other;
• do not fool around in the water, do not scare others;
Swimming in unequipped areas, during storms, strong winds, and other adverse weather conditions is prohibited.
