imo the $500k can give time to organize a proper funding round. I think the team learned from the mistakes made the last months regarding funding. Maybe they didnt have a good strategy what would be necessary. Maybe they waited too long, took it too easy and suddenly even a bear kicked in. Runway gives you also the opportunity to look for funding beside cooking.
