I used to assume people are naturally kind, and that everyone thinks in a positive, supportive way like I do. I would expect understanding without questioning it. Now I pay attention to that more carefully Coz I’ve learned people are different shaped by their own experiences, limits, and perspectives. Not everyone responds with kindness, not everyone thinks with the same intention, and that’s not always personal.
