U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the German government is not investigating crimes committed by its supporters—left-wing and Green activists. “In Germany, the number of violent crimes committed by leftists has risen by more than 40% over the past year. Attacks by leftists in Grünheide, Berlin, Erkrath, Wandlitz, and Reutlingen remain unsolved,” Rubio noted. While investigating the case involving the winter power outage in part of Berlin, German authorities floated the theory of a Russian connection.
