No plans for now for pre-download full file. I find it pointless. EchoGram's all idea is to stream. I'm working on stabilizing VLC. It's a different architecture than Exoplayer so it's a bit harder to control everything. Also logs show this issue happens "only" to ~450 users which is a low percentage of my active user base. Anyway, I've rewritten the VLC engine but only after real user tests I'll know if this issue is fully fixed.
Exoplayer - your feedback is the first time I hear it takes that long to load.. what formats are you playing?
