SeatGeek is moving conversational AI from an external demo into the marketplace itself
SeatGeek has launched Ask SeatGeek, a conversational search layer that lets buyers describe the event they want in plain language — for example, “popular outdoor concerts this week for under $100” — and get a tailored answer inside the marketplace. The company says the feature is built on 17 years of verified seat-level data covering price, location, sightlines, and seat perks.
This is also a deeper platform move. In March, SeatGeek says it became the first ticketing platform to combine primary and resale inventory inside a ChatGPT experience, then extended that intelligence to Google’s agentic AI search and Spotify. Ask SeatGeek now brings that same layer back into SeatGeek’s own marketplace.
The commerce signal is clear: conversational AI is becoming the decision surface where marketplace data, inventory context, and purchase intent meet before a buyer ever filters a catalog manually.
