Long time ago, on Firefox Golden Age, ppl abandoned ABP as regular Firefox Addon because it allow "Allowed Ads". ABP also more weaker than uBO or AdGuard. And one other reason ppl abandoned it also because it's a heavy addon when it is still in XUL form. ABP has libs (EYEO Libs) for AdsBlocking. Many browsers use ABP libs for their Internal AdsBlocker. Named a few; Cromite, Vivaldi, MS Edge.
