That's pretty straightforward stuff. I've been saying it for months in my work (algorithm development). With Claude Code I'm able to test directions/approaches that would have taken hours or days in minutes, and I have much better data visualization (because in the old days, getting better data visualization meant spending several hours on coding that, just to discover it didn't help you at all). A bonus of this rapid development cycle (idea->test->accept or dismiss) is that I retain coherent train of thought regarding the development of the thing I'm working on - my thought flows continuously, instead of being interrupted every time for hours or days to test a hypothesis. These factors together allow me to achieve amazing results that would have been well beyond my reach otherwise. Not because I wouldn't have thought about them myself (the occasions on which Claude offers a genuinely good novel approach are extremely limited. Usually it's rehashing straightforward, mainstream approaches, which lead to mediocre results), but because I wouldn't be able to follow them up myself, certainly not in the allotted time.
