Pharma insider explains how the Covid jabs actually caused a 430%(!!) increase in miscarriages vs the background rate
Analyzing the now-infamous Shimabukuro paper on "Covid-19 Vaccine Safety in Pregnant Persons," retired pharma R&D executive Sasha Latypova notes that among the ~1200 "covid vaccinated women" included in the study, there were 104 miscarriages before the 20th week alone.
Latypova notes that a study conducted in Australia found that the "background" (i.e., normal) miscarriage rate is ~1.6% for the full nine months of pregnancy. This would mean that, by the 20th week alone, the miscarriage rate was *more than four times higher* than what would be expected.
*There were 1,224 pregnant women observed in the Shimabukuro study; 104/1,224 = 8.4% miscarriage rate vs. 1.6% background rate found in the Australia study.
"Those people [Shimabukuro et al.] are not incompetent," Latypova tells Dr. Drew. "It wasn't a mistake... they can't say we didn't have enough data. They did have the data. They knew."
Note that Latypova also says elsewhere in this interview (not in this clip) that Tom Shimabukuro, the director of the CDC’s Immunization Safety Office, "is being investigated for destroying data and hiding safety signals."
For reference, The New York Post reported in April 2025 that @SenRonJohnsonUStold then-Attorney General Pam Bondi that "HHS officials recently informed me that Dr. Shimabukuro’s records remain lost and, potentially, removed from HHS’s email system altogether."
