I understand that Oasis Labs and Oasis Foundation are separate organizations. This is not the first time I’ve heard in response that Oasis Labs and Dawn Song were involved in the research and development that led to the creation of Oasis Network, and ambassadors are effectively downplaying their role in Oasis Protocol. However, this is difficult to reconcile with their public activity and the benefits they received after the token unlock. What is even more concerning is that Oasis Labs has not posted anything on X since July 11, 2024, which is roughly the same period when the token lockup ended according to the tokenomics. Since then, there has been no public activity from Oasis Labs, while Dawn Song has stopped making any mentions of Oasis, as if she had distanced herself from the project and erased it from her history, including on her personal website: https://dawnsong.io/ I am not claiming that this proves Oasis Labs or Dawn Song left the project after the token unlock. But this situation naturally raises questions, especially given the significant amount of tokens historically associated with Oasis Labs. That is exactly why I believe the Foundation or business team should provide an official clarification: Does Oasis Labs still have a formal or economic relationship with Oasis Network today? If so, what exactly is that relationship? What is Dawn Song’s current role in Oasis, and why does she no longer mention the project or publish research related to it? For me, these are simply legitimate investor questions about the project’s history, structure and tokenomics. I would like to receive official answers rather than accusations of speculation or FUD.
