Recently a friend lost 20 lac due to one of those.
I don't know what the hell motivated him to trade despite me constantly telling him not to unless he has done extensive research of his own first. 🤦♂️.
what I have seen mostly is 10% greed but rest of 90% is ego and overconfidence. they think just because someone else is making profit that means it's damn easy and they are super intelligent and will make far more profits. lol.
lot of them has dream to show off their profits to make themselves look superior.
people want shortcuts
very few think about if it was actually profitable then why is it being shared
market does not have infinite volume - the more people trade your profitable strat the more your profits will reduce
