don't believe anything unless official letter comes from SEBI chicha. news channels will use any random bullshit to move market into their direction. today's data shows huge Short covering and thus this news basically moves market into that direction for them.

lol I guess we can expect this measure or something similar the next time the market hits ATH govt/regulator may reverse this particular decision but they'll still have the itch to intervene in the markets once every month or two
