🚀 HOW CAN QUANTUM ALGORITHMS OUTPERFORM CLASSICAL ONES — AND HOW CAN WE BRING THIS KNOWLEDGE INTO THE CLASSROOM?
On 14 October 2026, Science on Stage Europe is hosting the free international webinar:
🔹 Quantum Computing in STEM Education – The Supremacy of Quantum Algorithms
Participants will explore practical, classroom-ready activities that introduce students to:
🔎 Linear and binary search
🔢 Factorisation
⚡️ The speed advantages of quantum algorithms over classical approaches
💻 Unplugged activities and optional Python-based extensions
The webinar is particularly suitable for upper-secondary mathematics and computer science teachers, but it is open to anyone interested in practical and engaging ways to introduce quantum computing into STEM education.
🎤 The presenter, Sam Robbins, is a computer science teacher in the United Kingdom and one of the authors of the Quantum Computing in STEM Education teaching materials.
