FerYes, I tried to reset it, but it wouldn't let me.
reset what? give context you need to run things as administrator you need to restore the deleted file and such, alternatively reset servicedll key value to termsrv location and reinstall make sure you put exclusion and turn off the antivirus when installing known issue and it's on you and ultimately offtopic if you're not able to complete the steps
