Tropical Storm Bertha has expanded into an enormous system now covering more than half of the Gulf of America. Storms this large don’t need extreme winds to create widespread impacts. Heavy rain, life-threatening flash flooding, dangerous storm surge, and isolated tornadoes are all possible as Bertha moves toward the northern Gulf Coast.
