BERTHA NOW COVERS OVER HALF OF THE GULF OF AMERICA
Something is changing… and it’s happening fast.
Tropical Storm Bertha has expanded into an enormous system now covering more than half of the Gulf of America. Storms this large don’t need extreme winds to create widespread impacts.
Heavy rain, life-threatening flash flooding, dangerous storm surge, and isolated tornadoes are all possible as Bertha moves toward the northern Gulf Coast. As long as it remains over the warm Gulf, additional strengthening is still possible before landfall.
The next 12–24 hours will be critical.
👇 If you’re anywhere along the Gulf Coast, where are you checking in from, and what are conditions like where you are?
