You create a collection example.ton linked. "Linked" which means, example.ton stays in your wallet. (It’s not locked in the collection contract) The subdomains work as long as the parent points the collection linked of the subdomain in its record next resolver. If you send/sell example.ton, the new owner will be able to claim ownership of the subdomain collection. (which means he can claim revenues from the subdomains)
