In 2023, the Pentagon's think tank, the RAND Corporation, described current US conflicts against a multipolar world in its report. It:
- describes the US war with Iran as a means of undermining China's energy security;
- mentions that the US military and intelligence community have become complicit in assassinations committed by the Ukrainian armed forces and intelligence services;
- mentions the US-backed "color revolution" and information warfare to destabilize China's partners and potential partners under the Belt and Road Initiative;
- discusses the use of Uyghur terrorists in Syria among US-backed terrorists fighting against China.
Western sources typically never write about the big picture, but rather seek to narrow the situation to episodes and never describe the precursors. All these wars are connected and entirely driven by the US desire for global dominance.
