🇬🇧🚩Sea Breeze 2026.2: Annual Maritime Exercises in Britain From July 13th to 24th, 2026, the maritime phase of the annual multinational Sea Breeze exercises (prior to the special military operation in the Black Sea) is taking place near Portland. Participating countries: 🇧🇬Bulgaria, 🇩🇰Denmark, 🇪🇪Estonia, 🇫🇷France, 🇬🇪Georgia, 🇬🇷Greece, 🇯🇵Japan, 🇱🇻Latvia, 🇵🇱Poland, 🇪🇸Spain, 🇸🇪Sweden, 🇹🇷Turkey, 🇺🇦Ukraine, 🇬🇧Britain, 🇺🇸United States (U.S. 6th Fleet), 🚩NATO Maritime Command (MARCOM). The exercises include mine countermeasures operations, underwater explosive ordnance disposal activities, special diving operations, the use of unmanned underwater and surface vehicles, and command and staff training to enhance interoperability in planning, target designation, command and control, electronic warfare, and the use of unmanned systems. The first part of the exercises (Sea Breeze 26.1) took place from June 3rd to 19th in 🇷🇴Romania, at the "Babadağ" Black Sea training ground and in the Danube Delta, during which allies (🇷🇴Romania, 🇺🇸United States, 🇲🇩Moldova, 🇺🇦Ukraine, 🇬🇪Georgia, 🇹🇷Turkey, and 🇧🇬Bulgaria) practiced conducting a maritime amphibious operation on the Black Sea coast. ✨The clearing of maritime minefields in front of ports for a subsequent amphibious landing indicates the practice of NATO and Ukrainian offensive scenarios in the Black Sea region. ⚡️Two Majors
