Two Majors - CHAT Room- English Channel

Dear citizens who love their nation despite its failings. I am digesting the information provided tonight by President Trump regarding the current issues of the U.S. electoral systems. I personally was involved in recount and validation efforts in my state in the weeks following the November 2020 elections. Just like the "official" storyline involving the COVID-19 saga, where much just didn't add up, so also were there many things about "mass-media approved" narrative of the Presidential election, that also didn't add up. Tonight, he provided specific information which demolished many of those assertions... Some information has been glaringly obvious for years, such as the amazing lack of rigorous Information/Computer Security of the systems involved. Which by the way were developed in Venezuela when very few were aware of its importance. The saddest knowledge, but also a good lesson to learn, is just how deep and widespread the American political swamp really is. Knowledge developed by Intelligence Agencies, was actively kept from the sitting President. But the swamp is well distributed across this land. There are stagnant and festering estuaries in just about every Statehouse. Even in conservative areas, the powers that be, exhibit a curious lack of motivation to secure elections systems. Years ago I was surprised that the BBC carried live election coverage for President Reagan's re-election in 1984. I really didn't realize how consequential American politics were to much of the rest of the world. Tonight I realize, a sizeable portion of the world views the United States through skeptical if not hostile eyes. But I cannot contemplate the effects on the entire world, should the trust in American governance be completely destroyed. Honest, accurate and trustworthy elections in adherence to its rules and laws, are the least any nation must perform in order to prove it is a legitimate power. Thank you for listening.
