Seriously, where are all the people who would try and justify russian aggression talking about NATO and similar bullshit coming from? There should be some common source, it's not possible for many people to come to the same batshit idea independently. NATO is a defense alliance, saying "russia attacked Ukraine because of NATO" is basically like saying "I've killed and robbed my neighbor because he was going to hire a defense firm". To think this somehow justifies the attack or makes it not aggression is ridiculous. But there's more: Ukraine wasn't even in NATO, or in any way close to joining NATO. On the other hand, do you know which country did join NATO soon after russian hybrid aggression in Ukraine became a full-scale invasion? Finland, a country whose border with russia is about 300 km from russia's second-largest city. Did russia attack Finland or in any way try to stop it from joining NATO? If this doesn't immediately convince you that all the talks about NATO having anything to do with russian aggression against Ukraine are complete and utter bullshit, than talk to me, I may have a bridge to sell you.
