I've been coding professionally for something like 16 or 17 years now and learned programming as hobby around 24 years ago (I can never remember if I was 10, 11 or 12 at the time) and I only stopped having impostor syndrome around covid era 🤷♂️

shit takes time, practice, skill and a frame of reference, once you get to the point where you're actually better than average or better than your peers you stop worrying so much 🤷♂️ (and your average peer does not give a fuck, believe me)

i don't even feel that i'm worse than average, i just work with very competent people and sometimes it makes me feel like i know nothing and my brain is too smooth for this work

everything you still need to learn feels like an insurmountable mountain, everything you've already learned feels like kindergarten and "it's so obvious everyone can do it"
