When I was younger, some of my friends used to play the song "What a Friend is Our Jesus" by (Dutch artist duo) Gert and Hermien.
Not because they were moved by the words. Not out of reverence for the Lord. They played it to laugh and make fun of it.
I found that strange at the time, because I knew the song very differently. It was often played on a cassette that my father listened to on Sundays. For me, it wasn't words to make fun of. I thought it was a beautiful song.
And actually, this is just a small example of something we see all around us.
People mock God, Christ, His Word, and those who follow Him. Sometimes very consciously. Sometimes almost thoughtlessly, because it has become normal in their environment.
People can laugh at the Bible without ever having actually read it.
They can reject Christ without ever seriously investigating who He is.
They can ridicule the Christian faith while barely knowing what the Scriptures actually teach.
The judgment is often already made before the investigation has even begun.
And meanwhile, they chase after the world.
Money. Possessions. Recognition. Pleasure. Status. Freedom. The ego.
They think they are gaining everything, while the most important thing is lost.
Jesus says:
"For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?"

That is perhaps one of the most serious questions a person can ask themselves.
What do you ultimately gain from everything this world can give you, when you are missing Christ?
The world can fill, entertain, and distract someone for a short time. But it cannot take away the guilt of a person. It cannot give peace with God. It cannot overcome death, and it cannot give eternal life.
That is why the Scriptures do not call unbelief wisdom.

So i am looking online nearly every day to find a plot of land, and another house on wheels too, while making shorts for you tube, so every day for 30 days to get myself back out there and the build on it

Verse 2 Timothy 2:4 says:
"No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier."
This verse reminds us to not get ourselves entangled with the affairs of life. When we do so, we please the LORD our God because He then sees that we have chosen to place our focus on Him over placing it on whatever is happening in our lives. Even if those can weigh us down or burden us to some degree.
God calls us to be warriors for Him. Not to physically or verbally fight others, but to guard ourselves; to guard our hearts, and to equip ourselves daily with the Full Armor of God to guard ourselves with against the whiles of the adversary the devil. After all: God chose you, as He was the one that lovingly guided you to acknowledge Him, accept Him and hunger and thirst after Him.
Therefore... Christian warriors, be careful today – and all the days to come – to not get entangled in worldly things that take your focus off of Christ Jesus and His purpose for you, that is unknown to you but known to Him: our Heavenly Father. And also remember: we can only see today, but God sees all – and He sees tomorrow and beyond. So let tomorrow worry about itself while you let go and let God...

Heavenly Father, I come before You to thank You and lay my burdens at Your feet. Hopelessness & Attacks
on the Mind
Heavenly Father,
I come to You today and ask You to guard my mind, my thoughts, and my emotions. Your Word tells me that You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. So today, I choose to stand on that truth.
Lord, every thought that tells me there is no hope, I reject it. Every thought that tells me things will never get better, I reject it. Every voice of fear, dread, worthlessness, confusion, condemnation, or despair that does not line up with Your Word, I refuse to agree with it.
Your Word says we can “take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5). So Jesus, help me do exactly that.
I surrender my mind to You.
Where my thoughts have become overwhelmed, bring peace. Where I have been expecting the worst, restore hope. Where my mind has been replaying painful memories, accusations, fears, or imagined disasters, interrupt those cycles with Your truth.
I declare that my thoughts do not control me. Fear does not control me. Hopelessness does not control me.
Jesus does.
Father, protect me against every spiritual attack directed toward my mind. If the enemy has been trying to discourage me, confuse me, exhaust me, frighten me, or convince me to give up, I stand against those attacks in the name of Jesus.
Your Word tells us to put on the helmet of salvation (Ephesians 6:17). Today I put that helmet on spiritually and ask You to protect my mind.
Let Your peace stand guard over me.
Philippians 4:7 says that Your peace “will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” I receive that peace today.
Remind me that a difficult moment is not the whole story. A difficult season is not the end. Feelings can be powerful, but they are not always truthful.
When my mind says, “There is no way forward,” remind me that You make ways where I cannot see them.
