Still on the design topic, just found this sketch from when he had lots of spikes and wore cargo shorts.
Kinda of like this design and outfit, also really like the huge wings and chonky horns, maybe I'll try to bring back some of those elements in the future

The longer muzzle, bigger ears, bigger wings and cat tail give him a more fluffy/adorable vibe, the newer design is a bit more intimidating
I do think the chonkier horns and bigger wings would add to this intimidating factor when paired with the more recebt designs
