Our students study hard, but party harder.
On Sunday, 12 July, our SU team organized the biggest football competition at SATashkent so far: more than 160 people in one place, playing for the SATashkent Cup and a lot of other prizes.
Those 160+ players came from different schools across Tashkent and from different groups at SATashkent, so most of them had never met before before they come to SATashkent.
On Sunday, they were either on the same team or against each other.
Some of them only became teammates the day before. One message in the SU group chat, 5 people showed up, and by the end of the tournament they had 4 new friends and that's exactly what we wanted)
The cup itself was intense. 8 teams were eliminated in the group stage, and the remaining 16 went into the knockout rounds: round of 16, quarter finals, semi finals, and the Grand Final 🥇
Even the teams that lost stayed to watch the games, so the sideline stayed full until the final whistle.
After the final, we awarded the winners (real ballers) with special prizes 👇

Of course, all of this would not be possible without the hard work of our SU team.They planned the whole event, managed 160 people on the day, and refereed the matches themselves.
