Hello! In this situation, only your registration can be extended for approximately the amount of time remaining until a decision is made on your permanent residence permit application. Your visa cannot be extended on this basis. Unfortunately, in practice, some MVD officers may incorrectly inform foreign nationals that they must leave Russia instead of extending their registration. We recommend contacting your local migration office well in advance to clarify the registration extension procedure. If they refuse to extend your registration, it is best to file an official complaint with the MVD.

Hello! Unfortunately, you cannot officially obtain information about the decision on your application at the Migration Center representative office. Its role is only to schedule appointments for submitting documents at the main Migration Center. At the moment, the only official way to check the status of your application is by visiting the Sakharovo Migration Center in person.

Hello! If you are simply married to a Russian citizen, you are not eligible to obtain a VHZH immediately. Based on marriage to a Russian citizen, a foreign national may apply for a TRP, provided that the marriage has lasted for at least three years. After holding the TRP for eight months, you become eligible to apply for a VHZH. You may, however, qualify for a VHZH immediately if you have a joint child who is a Russian citizen and permanently resides in Russia. Regarding Presidential Decree No. 821: The decree applies both to applicants who become eligible for a VHZH after holding a TRP for more than eight months and to applicants who qualify based on having a child who is a Russian citizen. If you are under 65 years of age, you must first either: sign a military service contract for a minimum of one year, or provide an official document from the military medical commission confirming that you are unfit for military contract service. Feel free to contact us in a private message for a more detailed consultation about your specific situation. All of our consultations are completely free.

Hello! You do not need to undergo a new medical examination after every entry into Russia. If it has been less than one year since your previous medical examination, you do not need to take it again. Under Russian law, medical certificates are valid for one year. Once they expire, a foreign national must undergo a new medical examination within 30 days. Our company also provides professional assistance with the entire process of completing the medical examination and fingerprinting (dactyloscopy). You can find more detailed information about this service below: https://t.me/braiden_channel/4450

Hello! The law does not clearly specify how long a foreign national holding a TRP may stay outside the region where the TRP was issued. However, as a practical recommendation, we would not advise staying and registering outside your TRP region for more than 2-3 months.

Hello, if you have held a TRP for more than eight months, you are eligible to apply for a permanent residence permit. In this case, Presidential Decree No. 821 will apply to your application. To apply for a permanent residence permit, you must either: 1 sign a military service contract for a minimum of one year, or 2 provide an official document confirming that you are unfit for military contract service.

Hi! Most likely, this bank statement will not be accepted because it does not specify that the account is a savings account ("накопительный" or "сберегательный")

Starting today, new government fee rates for obtaining Russian residency are in effect. If you paid the state fee at the old rate, you can pay the new fee to cover the difference. There is no need to cancel the previous payment. Please be careful!

Hello! Yes, this also applies to participants in the Repatriation Program. The new state fee is: 30,000 RUB for applying for a permanent residence permit; 15,000 RUB for applying for a TRP. However, all participants in the State Resettlement Program are exempt from the citizenship application fee, so obtaining Russian citizenship will be free of charge.

Forgive me if I didn’t see this explained, but was there a reason given for such a sharp increase?

I need some advice, I am a master graduated in 2025. I have a RVPO in another passport and I want to get a residence ВНЖ. I only have 3 years to do it, but as a Cuban I need to get a visa to submit the papers. My question is: Do I need to pay for another master's degree to get a visa and be able to present the residence ВНЖ?

SimonForgive me if I didn’t see this explained, but was there a reason given for such a sharp increase?
According to the Speaker of the State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, the increase in state fees was justified as follows: “The current increase in state fees will also generate more than 15 billion rubles in additional federal budget revenue each year. The stay of foreign citizens in our country should be economically justified. They should be self-sufficient individuals who are able to support not only themselves but also their families, comply with the law, know the Russian language, respect our traditions, history, and culture, and contribute positively to the country they have chosen to live in.” http://duma.gov.ru/news/63960/

Braiden Cases ⤴️⤴️ #braiden_cases №2252 Hello everyone! 👋 We start the week with a case where we helped replace a foreigner's VNZh in a single visit due to reaching the age of 45 and transferring the VNZh issuance stamp to a new passport. Case details: ➡️ Citizenship: #France🇫🇷 ➡️ Place of application: Migration Center in Sakharovo (Moscow) Our client is registered in Moscow, so for this matter, they had to apply at Sakharovo. In this case, a preliminary appointment was required. Our specialists made the appointment through the personal account on the migration center's website. ➡️ State fee for VNZh replacement: 6,000 rubles The state fee for VNZh replacement remained unchanged. We remind you that as of July 27, 2026, the cost of several state fees was increased. Read more (hyperlink to post with fees). ➡️ In this case, it was necessary to submit 2 applications at once: — to transfer the VNZh issuance stamp to the new passport — to replace the VNZh due to reaching the age of 45 All these applications were submitted in a single visit to the migration center. ➡️ Specifics: Previously, we have mentioned several times that in processes related to the replacement of documents for TRP and VNZh holders, they are always asked to provide confirmation of the submission of past annual notifications. This case was no exception. ➡️ Result: After 17 days, our client received a new VNZh and the VNZh issuance stamp in their new passport. Now they only need to complete the new registration ✅ Congratulations to our client on the smooth completion of these procedures! ❤️ ================== ➡️ Get consultation ➡️ Migration chat room ➡️ List of services ☑️ #VNZh #replacement #France Click on any hashtag in our post to select a list of posts on this topic

@braiden_info: Good Day. About a week ago, you mentioned some new procedures related to proof of income to be effective in September. Is this tied to a decree, amended decree or new law? We simply want to be ready for anything. Thank you.

#braiden_answers №2253 ❓I arrived from Sweden and have already received a temporary residence permit under Decree 702. Can I register as “self-employed” to give private English lessons? 📝 Our answer: Only Russian citizens or citizens of Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states can obtain “self-employed” status. Currently, the EAEU consists of five countries: the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Russian Federation. In your case, you can register as an individual entrepreneur (ИП). This status will allow you to legally conduct private teaching activities. Our company also offers professional assistance in this matter. ➡️ For more details: https://t.me/braiden_services/18 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ ➡️ Get consultation ➡️ Migration chat room ➡️ List of services ☑️#TRP #Decree_702 #ИП Click on any hashtag in our post to select a list of posts on this topic
