🚀 Fire Point co-owner Denis Shtilerman has published a photo showing the launch of the new long-range FP-1 drone, or a possible FP-2 variant.
According to Defense Express, the image likely shows a test flight, as indicated by the white navigation lights visible in the frame. In combat conditions, drones typically use less conspicuous red lights.
The drone also appears to feature additional equipment, including a device mounted on the tail, extra antennas, and unusual oval-shaped protrusions above the wings.
According to one theory, these could be auxiliary fuel tanks, potentially extending the drone’s range beyond the declared 3,400 km, or fairings housing electronic warfare or communications systems.
