🇫🇷 France has ordered the expulsion of Ksenia Fedorova, the former editor-in-chief of RT France, Libération reports. According to the newspaper, Paris police today served Fedorova’s lawyer with a deportation order. French authorities said the Russian national’s conduct “undermines the fundamental interests of the state” and that her presence in France poses a threat to public order. The order states that Fedorova’s dissemination of Russian propaganda “destabilizes public order” and “contributes to the spread of disinformation and destabilization” aimed at manipulating public opinion and “undermining the trust of European citizens, particularly French citizens, in their institutions.” In February 2022, France’s media regulator Arcom launched proceedings against RT France. In January 2023, French authorities froze the broadcaster’s bank accounts, forcing it to cease operations. Fedorova remained in France afterward and joined the right-wing conservative television channel CNews, where, according to the report, she continued promoting Kremlin narratives.

🇦🇲 Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan warned that the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) could begin to collapse if restrictions on Armenian exports are not resolved soon. “Now we all see that the problem is not Armenia, but the Eurasian Economic Union itself, because it turns out that the EAEU is paralyzed and not functioning. If this issue is not resolved in the near future, I believe this will mark the beginning of the end of the EAEU. The most important thing is that Armenia has the legal right to develop alternatives. I told Putin that we have already paved this path [toward the European market] and will continue along it, especially now that the people of the Republic of Armenia have voted for it. Armenia must always have alternatives in every area. The era of having no alternatives is over. The only question is when this alternative should be implemented,” Pashinyan said, according to Armenpress.
