I am in a region where a lot of White Families where always blue collar, a lot of two or three gens working for a single company

So it's rather regionally specifically, if you are down south or out west of Northeastern Ohio it's not a very union place, the Northeastern seaboard they are pretty strong and they get dibs on some of the bigger projects commercial side

Tbh, Western Canada and Western US were mostly settled and built up after the Continent was developed so I feel as though subpar working conditions and overworking people to death was just less common, Places like New York and Pittsburgh were soot towns, dirty and heavily industrial.
