Israel wants to turn the occupied part of Syria into a new West Bank. 🇸🇾🇮🇱 On 26 July, Israeli forces dropped leaflets on residents of the Yarmouk Valley, west of Daraa in southern Syria, urging them to stop blocking roads and hindering their operations. The leaflets also state that the forces ‘will continue to take all necessary measures to defend the State of Israel and its citizens’. Whilst the STG remains passive, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) continue to expand their operations in Quneitra and west of Daraa, whilst there is talk of future settler settlements in that territory. Furthermore, on 27 July, Eli Cohen, a member of the Security Cabinet, outlined Israel’s plan to build further bases on Syrian territory in response to the possibility of Turkish military expansion in Syria.

Hated by Syrian terrorists and ignored by Druze leaders, the remains of Syrian General Issam Zahreddine lay abandoned in the desecrated shrine at As Sawra as Saghira (currently under Bedouin control) during one year. However, honourable Syrian Druze were able to recover the remains and move them to a safe place.
