Answer: No official presence for DJT (Donald J. Trump) on Telegram; no evidence he and his sons are starting a “MAGA Academy.”
Telegram presence:
There is a popular Telegram channel @real_DonaldJTrump (roughly 610k–611k subscribers as of recent crawls). Its description reads “Uncensored posts from the Office of Donald J. Trump / Reserved for the 45th President of the United States” and links to donaldjtrump.com.
However:
It is not verified by Telegram as official.
Independent trackers and older reporting have treated similar or this channel as unofficial (one tracker explicitly labels related content “[unofficial]”).
Reliable 2021 reporting (and the pattern since) stated that Trump did not have an official Telegram channel; many accounts using his name were impersonators or archives.
Trump’s official website (donaldjtrump.com) does not list or promote any Telegram channel among social links.
Trump’s primary platforms remain Truth Social, X (@realDonaldTrump), and others; no official confirmation of a personal or office-run Telegram presence appears in recent coverage.
Donald Trump Jr. has used Telegram (e.g., a 2024 channel tied to a family-linked crypto project called “The Defiant Ones”), but that is separate from any DJT channel.
