This is very true of a major segment of the Iranian diaspora. I think most people don’t even choose to do this. They just get stuck in this life. They get stuck in the machine and don’t know there can be more to this life, as an Iranian especially.
I’ve been thinking of translating short clips of Khamenei’s speeches that I find interesting. Let me know if you’d like to see more. I honestly had never watched or listened to much of his speeches before Feb 28. But there are a lot of these clips nowadays circulating in the socials and a lot of it are very interesting. At least to me.

This is so true so many people fell prey of the hollow self-centered western glitz especially the u.s. ones, highly selfish and shallow. It isn't an Iranian problem : Cuba , Lebanon and many other country in all continent where the USa and europe play the game of hidden colonial entrapment this is bound to happen and when they found a country wanting to free itself from the shackles of post-colonian entrapment the wst start to use the often " educated " diaspora in an effort of destabilise legitimate government. In the case of Iran the west haven't spare a single dirty and violent escamotage ....
I wish Iran will now close this last chapter open 1979 and the world will gain from one of the most enduring and sophisticated societies who has much to give in many field , and at the same time will be left free for its own social evolution to develop without the fear of having the enemy always ready to use every legitimate social issue to destabilise the legitimate government
