There is a lot of dooming and Trump bashing going on. It’s to be expected. I’m going to say up front, I don’t blindly follow Trump. He’s not the Second Coming. He’s a man, he is fallible and he isn’t going to get everything right, nor are his opponents going to let him get some of the things he gets right put into practice. The truth, though, is that we are sitting on a sinking ship with great big holes the size of Maxine Water’s mouth in the hull. If you consider all historic precedent, our country should be at the bottom of the ocean. Any other empire in history in our situation has failed and failed ugly. Trump walked into a mess bigger than anything we can wrap our minds around; giant debt, every system compromised, nearly every politician owned, half the population with actual psychosis, manufacturing decimated, judges placed to stand in the way of fixing anything, rampant child exploitation and the importation of 20 million foreign-born leeches. The decisions he is making are hard. I don’t think he wanted war. I don’t think he wanted a lot of the stuff he has had to do. I do think he is looking very long term and trying to create something that lasts until our grandchildren are old. The alternative was to go along to get along, spend his billions of dollars, leg hump the Deep State fucktards and retire while the ship sank. He’d have been fine. We’d have drowned. We have to have manufacturing, energy, better education, less debt, leading edge tech, etc…. All of that takes time and creates small upheaval in normalcy to achieve, and it isn’t a guarantee. The pushback is enormous and we are in a monstrous hole. No other empire has survived this kind of mess. Trump is doing his best with a rotten situation and projecting hope while making necessary decisions that are ugly; decisions you and I could never make. I’m not Pollyanna. I'm not just blindly happy with everything Trump does without question. But I just see light where others see
