Anyway to update firmware without the app? App crashes on launch showing the following message just before crash: You are using an unsupported configuration and may encounter issues, please resolve this by updating your firmware to the latest version.

    I’m on MacOS, would it be easier to install the app on another device (say Windows) and do the firmware upgrade there? Happy to try any troubleshooting though first In case you want to find the root cause. (My replies will be slow over the next couple of days).

But we definetly would like to understand where your issue lies. If you can let us know whoch MacOS version you are on we can retry

    Cool, I’ve got 2 wallets so can always upgrade the other on another platform if needs be and continue troubleshooting with this one. MacOS = Sequoia 15.7.9 I’ve DM’d you a screenshot of some other details but I doubt you need them

It is a good topic and a good read indeed. But the ultimate push will have to happen within the blockchains. Wallets by itself can’t “elevate” security since they are limited to whatever blockchain standard prescribes (as BTC private key length for example….).
