🎓 MAY 2027 CA INTERMEDIATE STUDENTS
If you are preparing for both groups and are confident that you can complete your entire syllabus by January 2027, you may consider appearing for both groups. However, proper revision and mock tests are equally important.
📚 SUGGESTED STUDY PLAN FOR BOTH GROUPS
Phase 1: Complete the First 3 Papers
Try to complete the syllabus of Paper 1, Paper 2 and Paper 3 by the first week of November 2026.
Once you complete these portions, start preparing for Group 2 alongside your Group 1 subjects revision.
Phase 2: Focus on the Remaining Subjects
If you have completed Paper 1, Paper 2 and GST by the first week of November, you can plan your remaining subjects accordingly.
- Start preparing for Paper 4 & 5 (Cost and Management Accounting & Audit and Ethics).
- Continue with Paper 3 (Income Tax).
- Make sure you keep revising the subjects you have already completed.
Phase 3: Complete Paper 6
By mid-February 2027, if required, you can consider purchasing recorded lectures for Paper 6 (Financial Management and Strategic Management).
Plan your schedule so that you can complete its syllabus on time while continuing to revise at least two previously completed subjects.
Phase 4: March — Complete the Syllabus
Aim to complete your entire syllabus by March 2027, leaving sufficient time for revision, question practice and mock tests.
Phase 5: April — Final Revision
Use April exclusively for:
- Multiple revisions of all six papers.
- RTPs, MTPs and previous years' questions.
- Mock tests under exam conditions.
- Analysing mistakes and improving answer-writing speed.
