There's parts of the canal which are nice, but the actual port of Sharpness is grim. Like, it's a formative memory for me just how grim it is. That entire area between the hills and the river feels tainted in my mind

I’m not sure if my memory is failing me, but do I recall correctly that each pacer train had a horrible long ankle height heater running the entire length of the carriage, incapable of heating the train, but very effective at cooking your leg?
Smog Wolf 🔜 YFSPAlso, I think some pacers had a very different heater set-up. Consisting of only two heaters at either end of the carriage, directly under some poor victim’s seat. Again, ineffective at heating the carriage, but great for cooking human legs for all aspiring cannibals.
