Zack Snyder says he really wants to make a Rick & Morty movie. The filmmaker, known for his work on 300, Watchmen, and the DC films, has expressed interest in bringing the hit animated series to the big screen. A Rick & Morty movie could give Snyder the chance to explore the show’s wild sci-fi concepts, dark humor, and unpredictable adventures on a much larger scale. While there is currently no official movie in development, Snyder’s comments have sparked plenty of discussion among fans. With the series already known for its cinematic storytelling and ambitious ideas, a feature-length adventure could be an intriguing possibility.
The final season of BoJack Horseman — animated television at its absolute finest
📺 BoJack Horseman (2014–2020)
The final season of BoJack Horseman brings the story to an emotional and thoughtful conclusion. After years of struggling with his past, relationships, and personal choices, BoJack begins to seriously consider what it means to change and take responsibility for the life he has created.
The season starts with BoJack trying to build a healthier future. He takes on a new role as a teacher and attempts to stay away from the patterns that have followed him for years. For a while, there is a sense that he might finally be moving in a different direction. His relationships with the people around him also continue to evolve, particularly with Diane, Princess Carolyn, Mr. Peanutbutter, and Todd.
However, the season doesn't present personal growth as something simple or guaranteed. BoJack's past continues to affect his present, and the consequences of earlier choices gradually return to the story. The narrative becomes increasingly reflective, exploring themes of accountability, forgiveness, friendship, loneliness, and the possibility of becoming a better person.
One of the season's greatest strengths is how it allows different characters to move forward in their own ways. Diane continues working through her own struggles, Princess Carolyn balances her career with her personal life, Todd discovers more confidence and independence, and Mr. Peanutbutter faces his own need for growth.
Rather than giving BoJack an easy or perfect ending, the final season focuses on something more human: change requires continuous effort, and actions can have consequences even when someone genuinely wants to improve.
With its emotional storytelling, memorable character moments, and thoughtful exploration of life, BoJack Horseman ends its six-season journey with a conclusion that feels deeply personal and reflective.
CB Exclusive: ‘TOM AND JERRY SPECIAL SHORTS’ animation director Joey Capps wants to make a full series.
“They say the word and I’m there. My only request - gotta get the gang back together to do it. We had a pretty fantastic crew of people making these shorts.”
“I don’t think I’ve ever laughed as much in my life. I think all that came through in the work, I really do. It was absolutely something special.”
Brad Bird says ‘RAY GUNN’ is an important example of how animated films can still appeal to adult audiences.
“Animation is often assumed to be a children's medium and I’ve bitterly fought against that… I wanna see the person who says ‘I’ve outgrown animation.’”
‘HEXED’ will feature a traditionally hand-drawn 2D animated prologue.
It was animated by Tyler Pacana, one of the studio’s few remaining 2D animators.
