CHELSEA ANALYSIS 📈🔵

#INGAME Brighton has been Sharp in the second half Hope dey don’t get the 2 to make things tight

Damn it 3-2 as I said

#INGAME This is probably the biggest problem. The midfield isn’t protecting the back three enough. Chelsea are still playing with an attacking mentality despite having a two-goal cushion. When possession is lost, there is too much space between the midfield and defence. Brighton are getting time to turn and face the @Chealsea defence instead of being stopped earlier. Our midfielders are being dragged toward the ball, which opens central passing lanes. They’re also struggling to win the second balls. Brighton are getting repeated opportunities after the initial Chelsea challenge. That’s dangerous against Brighton because they’re comfortable building attacks through midfield.

GOALLLLLL

We gotta Watch how we concede goals bro…

Thoughts on today’s match guys?

Xabi Alonso: "We are happy with this win. But for sure there are things, moments that we have done really well, other moments that we didn't, but this is a process. We are in the process to keep learning, to keep improving and normally it is easier with a win." Xabi Alonso on Caicedo's injury: "We hope it is not new and not more than last time. He was cautious to stop, his feeling was not the best, but we have to assess." Xabi Alonso: "We are happy with this win. But for sure there are things, moments that we have done really well, other moments that we didn't, but this is a process. We are in the process to keep learning, to keep improving and normally it is easier with a win." Xabi Alonso when asked if he can guarantee that Pedro Neto will stay at Chelsea: "No, in football I don't guarantee anything, not anyone. But I was very happy with Pedro. He did really well, he played with a lot of energy. He is going to be very important for the team for the whole season because he has different special qualities. He is a threat in one-v-one, he attacks very well in the space, he is strong, he is competitive." Xabi Alonso on low possession: "It is never that approach, I don't say today we need to have 60% or 20%. I never talk about those things, it is about how to prepare, how to be more competitive. But the good thing is that you need to adapt, even during the game there are different moments and some moments that we have done really, really well and other moments that we can do better." Xabi Alonso on Enzo's future: 🗣 "We'll see. We want the best for the team and that's why we made the decision against Luton and today and anything that happens before Tuesday evening, we need to be aware of what is going to develop. We are not sure, we are preparing for all the scenarios but I am sure that whatever happens from Wednesday we will have a good enough squad to compete in all the @League_Premier games." Xabi Alonso when asked how much he wants to play ente
