Your community shouldn't need a landlord. Think about the online spaces where your group gathers: the book club, the running crew, the neighborhood watch, the regulars at your local café. Chances are, you're meeting on a platform someone else owns. And when you leave that platform? You leave behind your connections, your history, your conversations. There's another way. No phone number or email required. Your community's conversations live on a relay, which you can run yourself, on a cheap computer, even just on your local network. We've built a working version of this idea using existing tools. It's not science fiction. It's running right now! And it's ready for your bar, your block, your book club. 🔗 Read the story (and get the links to try it yourself) https://news.dyne.org/the-edge-of-the-internet/
