MID-ACTS 9 IS FALSE!” … OR IS THAT WHAT THE KING JAMES BIBLE ACTUALLY SHOWS? (DOES THE KJV ITSELF SHOW A DISPENSATIONAL SHIFT WITH PAUL?) (KJV / Mid-Acts 9 / Rightly Divided) Many people dismiss Mid-Acts 9 without ever examining the actual Scriptures. They’ll say: ❌ “Mid-Acts 9 isn’t in the Bible.” But neither are the words: ❌ “Rapture” ❌ “Millennial Kingdom” ❌ “Omniscient” The issue is never whether a theological label appears in Scripture. 🔥 The issue is whether the DOCTRINE is taught by Scripture. Paul said: “Study to shew thyself approved unto God… rightly dividing the word of truth.” — 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) Right division isn’t optional. It is a command. ⚔️ FIRST — ACTS 1–8 IS EXPLICITLY ABOUT ISRAEL Look carefully at what is happening. Jesus tells the apostles: “Go not into the way of the Gentiles… But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” — Matthew 10:5-6 He repeats the same truth: “I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” — Matthew 15:24 Even after His resurrection… 👉🏻 The four gospels are all about Israel’s prophetic program and Acts 1-8 Peter continues preaching to Israel 🇮🇱 and her last kingdom offer. “Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?” — Acts 1:6 Notice… They were still expecting: ✅ Israel’s kingdom. ✅ Israel’s promises. ✅ Israel’s restoration. Nobody asks about: ❌ The Body of Christ. ❌ The dispensation of grace. ❌ One new man. ❌ Heavenly places. Those truths had not yet been revealed. • Acts 1:6 – “Restore again the kingdom to Israel?” • Acts 2:14 – “Ye men of Judaea…” • Acts 2:22 – “Ye men of Israel…” • Acts 2:36 – “Let all the house of Israel know…” • Acts 3:12 – “Ye men of Israel…” • Acts 3:19–21 – Israel’s repentance and the times of refreshing. • Acts 3:25–26 – “Unto you first…” • Acts 4:8–12 – Peter addressing Israel’s rulers. • Acts 5:30–31 – “To give repentance to Israel.” • Acts 5:35 – “Ye men of Israel…” • Acts 7 – Stephen recounts Israel’s history from Abraham onward. • Acts 8 – The kingdom message continues before Saul’s salvation in Acts 9. ⚔️ SECOND — PETER IS STILL PREACHING TO ISRAEL Peter stands up in Acts 2 and says: “Ye men of Judaea…” — Acts 2:14 Then… “Ye men of Israel, hear these words…” — Acts 2:22 Then again… “Repent ye therefore… that your sins may be blotted out, WHEN the times of refreshing shall come…” — Acts 3:19-21 Peter connects forgiveness with: 📖 The prophesied kingdom. 📖 The return of Christ. 📖 Israel’s prophetic hope. Then he says: “Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant…” — Acts 3:25 Who? Israel. Not the Body of Christ. ⚔️ THIRD — THE “CHURCH” OF ACTS 2 IS NOT THE BODY OF CHRIST Many assume every occurrence of the word church means the Body of Christ. The Bible never says that. Jesus promised: 📖 ”…I will build my church…” — Matthew 16:18 Then He spoke to believing Israel: 📖 “Fear not, little flock…” — Luke 12:32 Acts 2 describes that believing Jewish remnant awaiting the promised kingdom. No mystery. No heavenly calling. No one new man. No revelation of the Body. 🔥 NOT EVERY CHURCH IN THE BIBLE IS THE BODY OF CHRIST. ⚔️ FOURTH — ACTS 1–8 FULFILLS PROPHECY, NOT THE MYSTERY Peter explains Pentecost by quoting: 📖 Joel 2 (Acts 2:16-21) David (Acts 2:25-36) The Abrahamic Covenant (Acts 3:25) Moses (Acts 3:22) Samuel and all the prophets (Acts 3:24) Everything Peter preaches comes from prophecy. But Paul later writes: “According to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began.” — Romans 16:25 And again: ”…the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God…” — Ephesians 3:9 Prophecy and mystery are not the same thing. ❌ Prophecy = spoken since the world began (Acts 3:21) ✅ Mystery = kept secret since the world began (Romans 16:25) Those cannot be the same program. ⚔️ FIFTH — ACTS 9 INTRODUCES PAUL Suddenly… Everything changes. Saul—the chief persecutor—is confronted by the risen, glorified Christ. “Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?” — Acts 9:4 This is not Christ ministering on earth to Israel. This is the glorified Christ from heaven calling a new apostle. Paul later says: “For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.” — Galatians 1:12 His gospel did not come from Peter. It came directly from Christ. ⚔️ SIXTH — PAUL IS OUR APOSTLE Paul doesn’t merely become another apostle. He is specifically appointed for the Gentiles. “…inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles…” — Romans 11:13 Peter acknowledges this distinction: ”…the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter… they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.” — Galatians 2:7-9 Different apostles. Different audiences. One God administering His purposes according to His revealed plan. ⚔️ SEVENTH — THE BODY OF CHRIST IS A NEW REVELATION Paul writes: ”…to make in himself of twain one new man…” — Ephesians 2:15 And: ”…that the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body…” — Ephesians 3:6 Where was this revealed in Acts 1–8? Nowhere. Because Paul says it was: ”…hid from ages and from generations…” — Colossians 1:26 If it was hidden… Peter could not have been preaching it in Acts 2. ❌ THE OBJECTION: “MID-ACTS 9 IS FALSE!” The real question is: Where do you first see… ❌ The revelation of the Mystery? ❌ The Body of Christ? ❌ One new man? ❌ Christ revealed from heaven to Paul? ❌ Paul receiving a gospel directly from Christ? ❌ Paul becoming the apostle of the Gentiles? The King James Bible introduces these truths through Paul’s apostleship beginning with his conversion in Acts 9 and his subsequent ministry, then fully explains them in Romans through Philemon. 🔥 DON’T CONFUSE ISRAEL’S PROGRAM WITH THE MYSTERY Acts 1–8 says: ✅ Israel. ✅ Jerusalem. ✅ The Twelve. ✅ The Kingdom. ✅ The Covenants. ✅ The Prophets. Acts 9 introduces: ✅ Paul. ✅ The revelation of Jesus Christ to Paul. ✅ The apostle of the Gentiles. ✅ The Mystery. ✅ The dispensation of the grace of God (fully explained in Paul’s epistles; see Ephesians 3:1-9). ✅ The gospel of the grace of God (Acts 20:24; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4). The shift isn’t invented by Mid-Acts teachers. It is observed from the progression of the biblical text and the distinct revelations recorded there. ✨🔥 THE BOTTOM LINE 🔥✨ The question is not: ❌ “Do you like Mid-Acts 9?” The question is: 🔥 Will you believe what the King James Bible actually says? Study the Book. Compare Scripture with Scripture. Rightly divide the Word of Truth. When you do, the distinction between Israel’s prophetic program and the Mystery revealed through Paul becomes central to this interpretive framework.
