ONE VERSE DOES NOT DESTROY GOD’S DIVISIONS! 🚫📖 (Stop using isolated verses to overthrow what God plainly revealed.) (KJV / Mid-Acts 9 / Rightly Divided) One of the biggest mistakes in Bible study today is this: Someone finds one verse they think disproves right division… Then ignores dozens of passages that clearly establish God’s distinctions. You’ll often hear: ❌ “What about the Gentile woman in Matthew 15?” ❌ “What about Cornelius in Acts 10?” ❌ “What about ‘there is neither Jew nor Greek’?” ❌ “See? There are no divisions!” But that is not how the Holy Ghost teaches His Word. God is not the author of confusion. 🛑 STOP misusing verses to try to “cancel” out God’s own distinctions and divisions. 📖 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” —2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) Right division does not invent distinctions. It recognizes the distinctions God already placed in His Word. ➡️ My question is, WHY are you arguing with God’s command 2 Timothy 2:15 to study and rightly divide?! ⚔️ FIRST — DON’T USE THE GENTILE WOMAN TO ERASE CHRIST’S EARTHLY MINISTRY TO ISRAEL 🇮🇱 One of the most abused passages is Matthew 15. People say: 🗣 “See! Jesus ministered to Gentiles too!” But what did Jesus actually say? 📖 “I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” —Matthew 15:24 (KJV) Earlier He had already commanded the Twelve: 📖 “Go not into the way of the Gentiles… But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” —Matthew 10:5-6 (KJV) The woman of Canaan was an exception that proved the rule—not a cancellation of Christ’s plainly stated mission. ❌ One exceptional miracle does not overthrow Christ’s own words. ✅ Jesus’ earthly ministry remained directed to Israel. The exception strengthens the distinction. ⚔️ SECOND — DON’T USE CORNELIUS TO ERASE PETER’S MINISTRY TO ISRAEL 🌍 Many say: 🗣 “Peter preached to Gentiles in Acts 10, so there was never any distinction!” Not so fast. Peter himself admitted this event was extraordinary. 📖 “Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation…” —Acts 10:28 (KJV) Peter did not become the apostle of the Gentiles. Paul later explains: 📖 ”…the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter.” —Galatians 2:7 (KJV) 📖 ”…he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision… was mighty in me toward the Gentiles.” —Galatians 2:8 (KJV) Peter remained connected to Israel’s ministry. Paul became the apostle of the Gentiles. Even Cornelius fits Israel’s prophetic program. Moses prophesied: 📖 “I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people…” —Deuteronomy 32:21 (KJV) Paul quotes that very prophecy: 📖 “First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people…” —Romans 10:19 (KJV) 💥 Cornelius was a prophetic Gentile used to provoke Israel to jealousy—not proof that Peter’s ministry changed or that the mystery had replaced prophecy. ⚔️ THIRD — DON’T USE GALATIANS 3:28 TO ERASE GOD’S DISTINCTIONS ⚖️ Another favorite objection is: 📖 “There is neither Jew nor Greek… for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.” —Galatians 3:28 (KJV) Then people conclude: 🗣 “See! There are no more distinctions!” That isn’t what Paul is teaching. The context is equal standing in Christ regarding salvation—not the abolishing of every biblical distinction. In fact, the same apostle later writes: 📖 “Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God.” —1 Corinthians 10:32 (KJV) If all distinctions disappeared… ❓ Why does Paul still identify three distinct groups? ✅ Equality in Christ does not erase God’s dispensational distinctions. ⚔️ FOURTH — ROMANS 9–11 IS ABOUT ISRAEL 🇮🇱 Many read the Body of Christ into Romans 9–11. They will also try to misuse verses in this section to cancel out distinctions. Paul never does. He begins by telling you exactly who he is talking about: 📖 ”…my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:” 📖 “Who are Israelites…” —Romans 9:3-4 (KJV) These chapters are about: ✅ Israel’s covenants. ✅ Israel’s promises. ✅ Israel’s unbelief. ✅ Israel’s temporary blindness. ✅ Israel’s future restoration. Romans 10 again quotes Deuteronomy 32: 📖 “First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people…” —Romans 10:19 (KJV) Those Gentiles were prophetic Gentiles, just as Moses foretold—not the revelation of the Body of Christ. 🛑Stop assuming what words mean, assuming these gentiles are about YOU is how wrong doctrine is created. Then Paul concludes: 📖 “Blindness in part is happened to Israel…” —Romans 11:25 (KJV) And: 📖 “And so all Israel shall be saved.” —Romans 11:26 (KJV) Nowhere does Paul say: ❌ The Body of Christ became Israel. ❌ Israel became the Church. ❌ The covenants were transferred to the Body of Christ. Israel remains Israel. The Body of Christ remains the Body of Christ. ⚔️ FIFTH — DON’T USE JAMES TO CHANGE PAUL 📜 James begins: 📖 “To the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad…” —James 1:1 (KJV) Paul writes: 📖 “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.” —Romans 3:28 (KJV) And: 📖 “For by grace are ye saved through faith… not of works…” —Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) ❌ Different audience. ❌ Different program. ✅ No contradiction. ⚔️ SIXTH — DON’T USE 1 CORINTHIANS 15:11 TO ERASE GOD’S DISTINCTIONS 📖 Another verse constantly quoted against right division is: 📖 “Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.” —1 Corinthians 15:11 (KJV) Then people confidently announce: 🗣 “See! Paul and the Twelve preached exactly the same thing! There are no distinctions!” Not so fast. That is ripping one verse out of its context. What is the context of 1 Corinthians 15? Paul is reminding the Corinthians of the historical facts of the gospel: 📖 “…how that Christ died for our sins… and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day…” —1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (KJV) Then Paul lists the eyewitnesses who saw the resurrected Christ: ✅ Cephas. ✅ The Twelve. ✅ Above five hundred brethren. ✅ James. ✅ All the apostles. ✅ Finally, Paul himself. The point is simple: They all testified that Christ truly rose from the dead. 🔥 The passage is NOT saying they all received the same revelation, ministry, audience, or body of doctrine. If verse 11 erased all distinctions… Then why did Paul later write: 📖 “…the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter.” —Galatians 2:7 (KJV) And: 📖 “…he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles.” —Galatians 2:8 (KJV) Paul also declares: 📖 “For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.” —Galatians 1:11-12 (KJV) And: 📖 “…the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began.” —Romans 16:25 (KJV) If Peter and the Twelve already possessed the revelation of the Mystery… ❓Why does Paul repeatedly say it was revealed to him? ❓Why does he distinguish his apostleship from Peter’s? ❓Why does he call himself “the apostle of the Gentiles” (Romans 11:13)? 💥 Because 1 Corinthians 15:11 is about agreement on Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection—not the abolishing of the dispensational distinctions God later revealed through Paul. One verse does not cancel Galatians 1, Galatians 2, Romans 11, Ephesians 3, Colossians 1, or Romans 16. It harmonizes perfectly with them when it is read in its context. ⚔️ SEVENTH — PROPHECY AND THE MYSTERY ARE NOT THE SAME 🔍 Peter preached: 📖 ”…spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.” —Acts 3:21 (KJV) Paul preached: 📖 ”…the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began.” —Romans 16:25 (KJV) 🔥 Something cannot be both: ✅ Spoken since the world began… AND… ✅ Kept secret since the world began. God distinguishes them. So should we. ⚔️ EIGHTH — PAUL IS OUR APOSTLE TODAY ✍🏻 Paul commands: 📖 “Be ye followers of me…” —1 Corinthians 4:16 (KJV)
