“RIGHTLY DIVIDING IS JUST YOUR INTERPRETATION!”? 🤔📚⚔️ 🔥 (WHY RIGHTLY DIVIDING IS GOD’S COMMAND—NOT MAN’S OPINION!) 🔥 (📖 KJV / Mid-Acts 9 / Rightly Divided ✂️) One of the most common objections to rightly dividing sounds like this: 💬 “That’s just your interpretation.” Or… 💬 “Everyone interprets the Bible differently.” Or… 💬 “No one can really know for sure.” 🤷‍♂️ At first… 🤔 That sounds humble. But if you stop and think carefully… 🧐 It actually reveals something much deeper. ❌ It assumes God did not preserve His Word clearly enough to be understood. ❌ It assumes the Bible is ultimately left up to human opinion. ❌ It assumes there is no objective way to arrive at God’s truth. 📖 But is that what Scripture teaches? 🚫 Absolutely NOT! The issue is not: ❓ “Whose interpretation is correct?” The issue is: ✅ “Will we believe what God actually said?” 📖❤️ The King James Bible teaches there is… ✅ A right way to study. ❌ And a wrong way to study. 🔥 God did not leave us guessing. He gave us His preserved Word 📖 and commanded us how to study it. ⚔️ FIRST — GOD NEVER CALLS RIGHT DIVISION AN OPINION 📖⚔️🔥 Paul writes: 📖 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God… rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15 KJV) 👀 Notice carefully. God does NOT say: ❌ “Interpret however you feel.” 😌 ❌ “Everyone’s understanding is equally valid.” 🤷 ❌ “There is no correct method.” 🚫 Instead… ✅ He gives a COMMAND. ✂️ Rightly divide. Commands are not suggestions. They are meant to be obeyed. 🔥 If God commands a RIGHT division… Then there must also be a… ❌ WRONG division. Otherwise… The command has no meaning. ⚔️ SECOND — THE HOLY SPIRIT IS OUR TEACHER 🕊📖💙 Many people say: 💬 “That’s just your interpretation.” But the believer has not been left to study alone. Paul writes: 📖 ”…the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” (Romans 5:5 KJV) Then again: 📖 “Now we have received… the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.” (1 Corinthians 2:12 KJV) 🕊 The Holy Spirit was not given merely to comfort us. He was given so we may… ✅ Know God’s truth. ❌ Not invent it. ❌ Not redefine it. ✅ Know it. 🕊📖 The Holy Spirit never contradicts the Scriptures He inspired. He illuminates them. 💡 ⚔️ THIRD — THERE ARE ONLY TWO WAYS TO STUDY 📚🔥🕊 The Bible presents only two approaches. ❌ Study with the flesh. 🧠 OR… ✅ Study with the Holy Spirit. 🕊📖 Paul explains: 📖 “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God… neither can he know them…” (1 Corinthians 2:14 KJV) Then says: 📖 ”…he that is spiritual judgeth all things…” (1 Corinthians 2:15 KJV) The flesh approaches Scripture through: ❌ Tradition ⛪️ ❌ Denominations 🏛 ❌ Emotions ❤️ ❌ Philosophy 🎓 ❌ Personal assumptions 🤔 The Spirit teaches believers through: ✅ Scripture comparing Scripture 📖➡️📖 ✅ Context 📚 ✅ Right division ✂️ ✅ Progressive revelation 📜 ✅ Believing exactly what God said 🙏🏻 🔥 Those are two completely different methods. ⚔️ FOURTH — THE FLESH BLENDS… THE SPIRIT DISTINGUISHES ✂️📖🔥 One of the clearest marks of fleshly Bible study is that it… ❌ Blends together what God separated. The flesh says: ❌ Israel = the Body of Christ 🇮🇱=✝️ ❌ Peter and Paul preached exactly the same message 👥 ❌ Law = Grace ⚖️ ❌ Prophecy = Mystery 📜 But the Holy Spirit teaches the distinctions plainly revealed in Scripture. Paul says: 📖 ”…rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15) 📖 ”…the dispensation of the grace of God…” (Ephesians 3:2) 📖 ”…the mystery… which in other ages was not made known…” (Ephesians 3:3-5) 📖 ”…kept secret since the world began.” (Romans 16:25) 🕊 The Spirit does not erase distinctions. He also does not explain them away. 🔥 He reveals them. ⚔️ FIFTH — “THAT’S JUST YOUR INTERPRETATION” AVOIDS THE TEXT 📖❗️🚫 Notice what usually happens. Instead of answering: 📖 2 Timothy 2:15 ✂️ 📖 Romans 16:25 🤫 📖 Ephesians 3 📜 📖 Galatians 2 🤝🏻 📖 Acts 3 🇮🇱 People simply reply… 💬 “That’s your interpretation.” But… 🚫 That is not an answer. If Paul says the mystery was hidden… 🙏🏻 Believe him. If Peter says he preached what the prophets spoke since the world began… 🙏🏻 Believe him. If God commands us to rightly divide… 🙏🏻 Obey Him. Calling it “interpretation” does not erase what the text plainly says. ⚔️ SIXTH — GOD IS NOT THE AUTHOR OF CONFUSION 🚫🌪📖 Paul writes: 📖 “For God is not the author of confusion…” (1 Corinthians 14:33 KJV) Yet many modern systems produce endless contradictions. ❌ Water baptism saves… ❌ No it doesn’t. ❌ Israel is the Church… ❌ No they’re different. ❌ Keep the Sabbath… ❌ No don’t. ❌ Sell all your possessions… ❌ No don’t. 🤔 Why? Because verses meant for different… 📍 Audiences 📍 Programs 📍 Dispensations …are blended together. 🔥 Right division doesn’t create confusion. ✨ It removes it. ⚔️ SEVENTH — THE KING JAMES BIBLE EXPLAINS ITSELF 📖⚓️💙 The Bible is not a puzzle solved by human wisdom. God interprets His own Word. 🕊 The Holy Spirit compares Scripture with Scripture. 📖 The Bible defines its own terms. 📚 Context identifies the audience. 📜 Dispensations explain the changes. 🤫 The mystery explains what was hidden. 👑 The prophets explain Israel’s program. ✉️ Paul explains ours. When we humbly submit to God’s Word instead of forcing tradition into it… ✨ The Scriptures fit together beautifully. ⚔️ EIGHTH — THE REAL ISSUE IS THE HEART ❤️📖🙏🏻 When someone says: 💬 “That’s just your interpretation.” Often they are really saying: 💬 “No one can know for certain.” But… That is not faith. ❤️ Faith believes God has spoken clearly. ❤️ Faith believes God’s Word is true. ❤️ Faith submits to Scripture—even when it overturns cherished traditions. The question isn’t whether God made His Word understandable. The question is… 🙏🏻 Will we let Him correct us? The believer who approaches Scripture humbly… 🕊 Depends on the Holy Spirit… ✂️ Obeys God’s command to rightly divide… …is not trusting human interpretation. ✨ He is trusting God’s method. 🌎✨ SUMMARY ✨🌎 💙📖 God commands us to rightly divide the Word of Truth—not merely interpret it according to tradition. ⚔️✂️ 🕊📖 The Holy Spirit teaches believers through God’s preserved Word—not through human philosophy or denominational systems. 💡 🔥🕊 There are only two approaches to Bible study: the flesh or the Spirit. A saved believer can absolutely study with their flesh. ✂️📜 The flesh blends together what God separated; the Spirit reveals the distinctions God placed in His Word. ❗️📖 Saying “that’s just your interpretation” does not answer the clear statements of Scripture. 💡📚 God is not the author of confusion. Rightly dividing removes contradictions instead of creating them. ⚔️ 📖⚓️ The King James Bible interprets itself when we compare Scripture with Scripture and submit to its context and progressive revelation. 🙏🏻❤️ The issue is not whether there are many interpretations… 🔥 The issue is whether we will believe what God actually said. ✨🔥 THE BOTTOM LINE 🔥✨ The objection… 💬 “Rightly dividing is just your interpretation.” …sounds humble. But it actually denies that God has given believers a clear and knowable method for understanding His Word. 📖 God did not command us to invent doctrine. 📚 He commanded us to study. ✂️ He commanded us to rightly divide. 🕊 He gave believers the indwelling Holy Spirit to illuminate the Scriptures, compare spiritual things with spiritual, and reveal the distinctions He Himself placed in His Word. Our job is to allow Him to teach us.
