id 689183168From when ind as application in this case???
I think on 31-3-14 net worth is 400 cr i.e more than 250 cr for unlisted company
Therefore ind as applicable from 1-4-2017. Is it right???
But in answer it is given 1-4-2016.why???
the networth requirement is 500 cr upto 01.04.18 and 250 cr from 01.04.2019...........as the ques is before 01.04.2019, applied limit should be 500 crore so ind as will be applicable from FY 31/03/15 along with comparative statement of 31/03/14

To be applicable from 31.03.2014 one needs a net worth of Rs. 500 cr or more on.... It is less than 500 cr.. hence not applicable

The criteria is rechecked at every balance sheet date from 31/03/14 and onwards. It didn't meet phase 1 criteria at 31/03/14, next it will be rechecked at 31/03/15 now it meets the criteria of phase 1 and hence IND AS becomes applicable from 01/04/16

I'm finding that when solving TDS questions, I can remember the correct section, rate, and exemption limit, but I'm having difficulty forming proper sentences to explain my answer. In the examination context, if I provide the correct TDS section, rate, and exemption along with my own explanation, will that be sufficient to earn marks, or is sentence construction heavily weighted?
