Hey everyone, I'm RocketSwitch. I've been following crypto and the DeSci space since 2021, and I've reviewed well over 200 crypto projects and been involved in many of their communities. I enjoy being part of teams that build things that matter.
My background is in creative work and tech, and I focus on using data-driven thinking to improve outcomes and communicate complex ideas clearly. I've spent over a decade helping brands build smarter, more human-centred digital experiences through design, front-end development, and optimisation. I love bringing together creativity, clear communication, and technical problem-solving.
I'm excited to support Data Lake as a mod, help keep the community active and welcoming, and contribute to the mission wherever I can.
Wojciech SierockiHey everyone!
Today, as promised, we are taking an important step towards greater decentralisation and increased community participation.
I’m pleased to announce that three independent community moderators - @SafeHaven_AlexC, @Rocket_Switch and @grithage have decided to take on the challenge and
Why did a new community be created?
I just moved to the other channel. May success be with you guys. Hopefully the FUDders/soft haters won’t be admitted in the new one. There has to be some kind of automated filter/admission bot to prevent this from continuously happening. They make people engage in useless conversations and spread lies.
I’m not a technical expert, but these are just my two cents. Godspeed!
Dear Community,
As announced on Monday, starting from today it will no longer be possible to send messages to this group (Data Lake Community). The history of communications will still be available.
All official announcements will be posted on the Data Lake Announcements channel (@LakeTokenAnnouncements).
A new group (@LakersCommunityChannel) has been created by community members (mods), independent of the Data Lake team, where all members of our Data Lake Community can share their experiences, and which will be fully community-driven. We encourage you all to move there!
Why are we making these changes?
In line with the principles of decentralization, which are very important to us, we want to give our Community full control and responsibility for communication on Telegram. Also, we want our community to become a vibrant place to discuss the use of data to advance scientific discovery.
We have selected committed and responsible moderators, so the Data Lake community will continue to operate at the highest level and hopefully be a vibrant place to incubate new ideas and enthusiasm for decentralized science. We do encourage all Community members to participate in discussions on a new channel.
This is another step consistent with our mission and plans. As we wrote on September 29, 2025, one of our priorities is increasing governance through the community.
In addition, due to growing regulatory requirements and the risk of scams, we, as a team, have been under pressure to ensure comprehensive content moderation and high-quality discussions, which we are not able to do efficiently in the long run. We therefore maintain official channels for one-way communication, whereas Community discussions shall be conducted in a community-moderated space.
Please note that the Data Lake Team shall bear no responsibility and will hold no administrator powers over the new channel. Please remain vigilant and do not treat information on the new channel as official Data Lak
