Arsenal have ruled out a move to significantly expand the Emirates Stadium beyond its current capacity of 60,704. In 2024, the north London club set up a working group led by the chief executive, Richard Garlick, to examine the possibility of extensive additions to its home stadium. It has now been decided that the club are committed to ‘continued evolution’ of the Emirates rather than a ‘huge-scale masterplan’. This would mean a focus on improvements on hospitality, retail, visitor facilities and the wider fan matchday experience.
