A company called Greenvize has officially deleted the need for gas tanks. They’ve developed a stove that creates its own fuel. Using a Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) electrolyzer, it splits 100ml of water into hydrogen and oxygen. The Math: 100ml of water + 1 kWh of electricity = 6 hours of high-heat cooking. The Freedom: No gas lines. No "smart meter" shutoffs. No relying on the grid. The Verdict: If you can turn water into fire in your own kitchen, the "Power Plant Days" no longer have power over you.     A little something missed in the text above. Electricity is required to split the water into hydrogen and oxygen - a process called hydrolysis. However, it's a very cheap way of obtaining your own gas supply. Add some solar panels for electric production and then you are good to go. Leave the grid behind.

It can't be too hard to build self-sufficient generators. Alibaba and AliExpress are selling them and they aren't expensive. The technology isn't complicated and can be sized to power cars batteries. Battery size can be reduced and the public doesn't have to plug in. Electric company profits are the road block

Wasn’t it the USA Trade Deal that promised us cheap diesel, and forced the shut-down of our only bio-diesel plant? Now the price is sky-rocketing! - Proves the petro-chem industry is about control, not for the benefit of the consumer.

With reference to a Solar Farm in Devon: “The farm is connected. There's a substation a few miles away that can't cope and all solar farms in the area were ordered to stop production until it's fixed.” - Manipulation and incompetence by the National Grid!!! - No wonder we need Labour’s GB Grid. (This particular farm was scheduled to go live in 2023, and we’re still waiting on the National Grid.)

We don't need a national grid. They use it to grab your cash. For about a grand a house can be electric self-sufficient

China are selling self-sustaining generators up to 50 KW with household installatio, parts about £1000. Then you can cut off the national grid.

    That sounds quite astonishing, do you have any names of the manufacturers of these generators because I will be flying out to China shortly and could call in for a demonstration?

Take a look at AliExpress and Alibaba. Maintenance should be no more than £200 at today's rates but the system should be good for 15-20 years. It would be an easy step to check with canal boat builders to design a reasonable good quality price for a system
