*Leeds Community Assembly* We’re bringing together people in Leeds who feel things aren’t working as they should—rising costs, poor services, not being heard. It’s a structured, respectful space where everyone has a voice, and we focus on small, practical actions that actually make a difference locally. Community Assemblies bring people together at grass-roots level as local Community Assemblies (street, hamlet, village or town) and their associate Regional Assemblies (county, metropolitan city, area or island). This forms the basis of our Community Assembly Framework for everyone living in the British Isles. A brief summary of issues with wind turbines.... 1. Commerical Windturbines use approx 1k of concrete per turbine 2. They are taking away natural habitats 3. The materials are usually imported from other countries 4. The shelve life of these turbines on average last for approx 20 years, or less 5. The blades can kill birds and bats 6. Wind-turbines make noises which can cause Barotrauma 7.
