I'm keeping an eye on that, again, its a rumour, not a topic. Unless it can be verified I'm cautious to post on it.
Best thing I've found: watch what institutions are actually doing, not what rumours say they might do. Real policy leaves a trail.
If something shifts, we'll see it in the data. Until then, staying informed beats staying anxious.

🌍 From the Ground
⚙️ IT HAS TO WORK
We've talked this week about why we need Assemblies.
We've also started looking at what an Assembly actually is.
But there is something else worth thinking about.
⚙️ AN ASSEMBLY IS ONLY AS STRONG AS ITS ABILITY TO FUNCTION.
It can have a name.
It can have documents.
It can have meetings.
It can have good intentions.
☑️ But eventually, people have to do the work.
Someone has to keep the records.
Someone has to understand the processes.
Someone has to communicate.
Someone has to organise.
Someone has to teach.
Someone has to carry responsibility.
☑️ And people need to understand how all those pieces fit together.
That's why building an Assembly isn't simply about finding enough people to say:
"Yes, we want an Assembly."
☑️ It's about developing a group of people who understand:
what needs to be done,
why it needs to be done,
who is responsible for doing it,
and how the different parts work together.
🌱 Think about a garden.
You don't create a garden by putting six people in a patch of soil and giving everyone a shovel.
☑️ You need to know what you're growing.
☑️ You need people who know what they're doing.
☑️ You need tools, preparation, planning and care.
☑️ And then you actually have to work the ground.
🔺 An Assembly is no different in that respect.
☑️ The idea is the beginning.
☑️ The functioning structure is the work.
And perhaps that's an important distinction for us as we continue exploring this:
🔘 We're not just learning what an Assembly is.
🔘 We're learning what it takes for one to function.
There's plenty more to unpack.
Because next week, we'll start getting a little more practical, and look at what actually goes into building an Assembly.
We'll take it one piece at a time.
For those finding their feet on the ground.

🌅 First Pour
Let's talk about what happens when you stop thinking in terms of "winners and losers" and start thinking in terms of "infrastructure layers."
✳️ The Winner-Take-All Narrative:
For years, the crypto space has been shaped by this story:
which asset will "win"?
Which platform will become the standard?
🔹 Bitcoin maximalists: "Bitcoin is digital gold. Everything else fails."
🔹 Ethereum evangelists: "Smart contracts are the future. Everything else is obsolete."
🔹 XRP believers: "Ripple has the partnerships. Bitcoin will be replaced."
Each narrative is compelling because it's simple.
It has a villain (the failing technology) and a hero (the winning technology).
It explains the world in binary terms.
🔸 The Problem with This Narrative:
It's wrong. Not slightly wrong. Fundamentally wrong.
Financial infrastructure doesn't work like that. It's not a zero-sum game where one winner takes everything.
Look at traditional finance.
SWIFT didn't replace correspondent banking.
It coexists with it.
ACH didn't replace wire transfers.
They operate side-by-side, each serving specific use cases.
🔸 The actual pattern:
New infrastructure layers don't replace old ones.
✔️ They sit alongside them.
✔️ They specialize.
✔️ They complement.
Over time, the old layer shrinks as specialization becomes more efficient.
But the old layer doesn't vanish, it adapts to serve the cases where it's still optimal.
❓ What's actually building:
✅ Storage Layer:
Bitcoin (and others) holding value across time.
Cold storage. Treasury reserves.
✅ Movement Layer:
XRP infrastructure,
SWIFT blockchain upgrades,
mBridge, Agorá - multiple options for moving value efficiently.
✅ Application Layer:
Ethereum, Solana, others - smart contracts and programmability.
✅ Settlement Layer:
DTCC tokenization,
blockchain rails
central bank infrastructure clearing and
final settlement.
☑️ Each layer is thriving.
☑️ Each layer has multiple participants competing within it.

👁 REFILL
⚠️ The Fear Narrative:
"Your asset won't survive.
One coin will win, the others will crash.
You picked the wrong one.
You should have picked Bitcoin / XRP / Ethereum / Solana."
This narrative runs on anxiety. It makes people feel urgency to pick the "winner" or face loss.
💡 The Knowledge Narrative:
"Multiple layers are thriving.
Different systems serve different purposes.
The infrastructure is building in parallel.
Your position depends on understanding which layer it serves, not on betting on a single winner."
The knowledge narrative doesn't have the same emotional punch. It's less exciting. But it's grounded in observable reality layered infrastructure, multiple adoption tiers, complementary systems.
👀 What the data shows this week:
Retail adoption accelerating (Layer 1)
Corporate holdings expanding (Layer 2)
Institutional flows continuing (Layer 3)
All three tiers moving simultaneously
That doesn't happen if one asset is "dying."
That happens when financial infrastructure is genuinely integrating across multiple tiers, multiple systems, multiple assets.
🧩 The actual pattern:
Each layer validates the others.
Retail sees corporations holding Bitcoin, so retail buys.
Institutions see corporate adoption and retail participation, so they allocate capital.
Corporate treasuries see institutional flows, so they increase positions.
It's not random.
It's structural.
It's the pattern of how infrastructure adoption cascades through a financial system.
🌱 For Land Walkers watching this:
Stop waiting for the announcement of "the winner."
Stop asking which asset will prevail.
Stop analyzing price as a signal of infrastructure success.
Start observing the layers.
Start asking: which function does this serve?
Is it storage?
Movement? Application?
Settlement?
Once you understand which layer something occupies, you understand its role.
Once you understand its role, you stop needing to know "which one wins."
You just need to know "whic

🌊 The Mysterious Singing of Ice
When winter settles over deep northern lakes, a strange and ethereal phenomenon takes place. As the temperatures plummet, vast sheets of thick ice stretch across the water, appearing completely frozen, silent, and still.
Yet, if you stand on the shoreline in the cold quiet, the lake begins to sing—producing high-pitched, metallic pings, echoing chirps, and deep, resonant hums that sound like something straight out of a science fiction movie.
🎵 The Acoustics of Thermal Expansion
This haunting sound is not an illusion, but the natural music of physics and geology at work:
Stress and Shifts: As air temperatures fluctuate, the top layer of ice expands and contracts rapidly compared to the warmer water underneath, creating immense internal pressure within the sheet.
Laser-Like Shoots: When that tension grows too high, microscopic cracks shoot across the ice sheet for miles at incredible speeds, releasing stored kinetic energy as acoustic sound waves.
Frequency Sorting: High-frequency sounds travel faster through the dense ice than low-frequency ones. By the time the acoustic wave reaches the shore, the high notes hit your ears first followed by the deep bass, creating that iconic, descending "laser beam" ping.
🌿 Harmonies in the Quiet
Without a single amplifier or instrument, a frozen body of water converts thermal movement into a massive, living acoustic dynamic.
It is a stunning, gentle reminder that even in moments that appear completely frozen, silent, and cold, there is vibrant energy and hidden beauty moving beneath the surface.
Wishing you a peaceful, quiet, and deeply refreshing Sunday morning spent taking in the subtle wonders of the day. ✨
