Vlad, first thing — check if your OpenWRT has 802.11r (fast roaming) or PMF (802.11w) enabled. Pixel Fold on GOS can freak out on some router combos with those. Try locking it to 2.4 GHz band only as a test — instant drop to LTE smells like band steering glitch.

Good effort but it didn't help. I've tried to engage with a lot of public networks including local libraries, shops and even AirBus. It just keeps losing it.

Oh, OK, as your message was just after mine, I thought. Well, does anyone even use syncthing ? I saw there was a controversy a few months back but...

Syncthing own receiver is fine if you pin device IDs and use your own relay. The controversy was about their global discovery servers leaking IPs — not the core protocol. On GOS with no Google backup, I'd still trust it more than Nextcloud for local sync.

And no known issues about several profiles syncing the same folder from another profile ?
